Flow Nodes is a visual programming app for building live graphics, video effects, 3D scenes, and custom interfaces — just connect nodes, no code required.

Start from ready-made presets in Discover, follow built-in tutorials, or build from scratch. Combine image processing, video, animation, math, networking, and UI with realtime inputs like camera, microphone, motion sensors, body, hand and face tracking, MIDI, OSC, and NDI.

Built for realtime creation. Nodes arrange themselves as you connect them. Search and add nodes quickly, edit properties in the inspector, animate with a keyframe timeline, and reuse flows inside other flows. Organize projects in folders, split the canvas into tabs and panes, and navigate with a mini-map and live previews. Import and export images (including HDR), video, and 3D assets, record any output to video, and AirPlay content over Wi-Fi or HDMI.

On supported devices, Apple Intelligence helps you understand and edit flows: read node docs, review connections, and use chat to create, connect, and update nodes with natural language. Automate flows with Shortcuts.

Auto save with iCloud syncing, import and export files.

Fun little app
This is a pretty cool little app. Lots of nodes, which have already had 3 updates with new nodes since I downloaded it. I would love to see an NDI import and export node set too, that could open up a whole bunch of fun and useful options.

Flow Nodes is Dope Bro
The dev is professional and has made something really interesting here with Flow Nodes. It’s a really nice app, smooth, and capable of a lot once you wrap your head around it, could be something really special Super responsive dev as well! Thanks to the dev for responding to a bug so quickly!

was really enjoying this but ever since the 2nd update this has started crashing on launch for me. i've tried every version with each update and each one besides the first crashes on launch. i'm on a macbook pro 2012 running MacOS 14.2.1. intel HD graphics 4000 and 16gb ram. any chance of fixing this update: you were totally right and no i hadn't tried that yet. after deleting all the folders and files from my computer and then deleting and redownloading the app, everything is functioning normally again. it's no longer crashing at startup. thank you!! 5/5 for this awesome app
